We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
The Pharmacy Technician will assist the Pharmacist under direct supervision, in the practice of Pharmacy.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Current Pharmacy Technician Certification and meet individual state requirements for registration.
High school graduate A minimum of 1 year working in a hospital is required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescribed medication for patients.
Interprets patient drug profiles.
Maintains supply inventory records.
Other administrative tasks as assigned.
JOB COMPETENCIES Ability to Navigate/Utilize Electronic Medical Record.
Understand/Comply with Hospital Policy and Procedures.
Maintains skill level by continuing education, collaborative training with co-workers and physicians, and annual skills checkoffs.
