Kennel Technician

We are a dog and cat rescue looking to hire someone passionate about animals to join our team full time.
We currently have 8 dogs, 19 cats, and 2 rabbits in our care.
Our goal is to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide animals with a forever home.
Job descriptions include but are not limited to cleaning kennels and enrichment areas, cleaning cat enclosures, feeding dogs, bunnies, and cats, exercising and training dogs, basic grooming, and basic medical care.
We are looking for someone to work on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 7am to 5:
30 pm.
Starting pay is based on experience but usually starts from $15.
00 to $17.
00 an hour.
We offer PTO after 90 days, and paid vacation time after 1 year.
We also offer health and dental after 90 days.
Job requirements:
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have at least 2 years of dog experience.
Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
The kennels are air conditioned, but dog enrichment areas and cat enclosers are outside, so in the summer this is a hot job.
Being able to handle the Florida heat is a must.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
