Summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist ensures inventory integrity in the pharmacy through a variety of inventory adjustments and data collection tools.
The Inventory Control Specialist consistently and accurately completes and communicates stock counts.
They identify, determine, and communicate high shrink categories.
After identifying the root cause of replenishment issues, they follow up with leadership until the problem is resolved.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for ensuring accurate perpetual and physical inventory through cycle counting Makes the necessary count corrections and communicates to high level management Reviews End of Life (EOL) preps, communicates with sales and pulls products from dispensing area Partners with buyers on weekly commercial product pull Exceptional attention through 5s organizational practices with all finished goods Reviews daily PO Reports for all compounds and follows up with production Assists in determining and entering min/max perimeters Maintains a systematic monthly file system OTHER DUTIES AND

Expected to manage time effectively, if workload is low and employee is not able to identify items to do, employee should reach out to supervisor for direction.
