IT Hardware Configuration and Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Hardware Configuration and Maintenance Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and updating hardware that gets deployed to customer locations.
The position requires a strong technical background, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities Build and install low voltage systems such as security, fire alarm, and access control systems.
Configure, maintain, and update hardware for deployment to customer locations Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues remotely or on-site as needed Perform regular hardware maintenance tasks such as cleaning and updating firmware Manage inventory of hardware and ensure timely deployment to customers Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of hardware Document hardware configurations and maintenance procedures for future reference Provide training and support to customers on hardware usage and maintenance Stay up-to-date with industry developments and recommend hardware updates or replacements as needed Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements during hardware deployment and maintenance processes Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in hardware configuration, maintenance, and deployment Strong technical skills in configuring and troubleshooting hardware such as servers, switches, and routers Knowledge of networking protocols and topologies Experience with remote access tools and techniques Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when required Familiarity with security and regulatory requirements related to hardware deployment and maintenance Recommended Skills Access Controls Attention To Detail Communication Electrical Switchgear Firmware Information Technology Apply to this job.
